Astra Signs is a 100% owned Manchester company. It was established and remains managed by Mancunians and we also insist on recruiting locally. We invest heavily in training and development across the workforce so you are offered a consistently highly skilled team.
Because we rely on the local community to help us go about our business, we like to share the success of our business and give something back. Which is why Astra Signs carries out a number of pro bono and charitable projects. These have included producing all the signage for Versus Cancer concerts, working with the Air Ambulance Service, sponsoring Platt Fields Park’s summer festival and most recently working with the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Most recently we have been working with the Sharp Project on a digital media initiative that will see Year 9 pupils design a mural to wrap the Sharp building in East Manchester. The aim of the Sharp Futures competition is to inspire and educate young people and the wider community on the exciting future of the digital industry and the building's unique position as a digital grow bag.
